Test Regular Expressions Against Text
This tool lets you write a regular expression pattern and immediately see which parts of a block of text it matches — matches are highlighted directly in your text, and listed individually below with their position and any capture groups. It's useful for building and debugging a pattern before using it in real code, whether for validation, search-and-replace, or data extraction. All processing happens locally in your browser using JavaScript's own built-in regular expression engine; your text is never uploaded to a server.
