About Remove Duplicate Lines
This tool takes a long list-style block of text — one item per line, like an email list, keyword list, or exported data — and removes every line that's an exact duplicate, keeping the first occurrence of each one. You can also sort the result alphabetically, ignore letter case when comparing lines, trim stray whitespace, and drop empty lines, all at once. All processing happens locally in your browser; your text is never uploaded to a server.
Tips for Getting Clean Results
Leave "Trim whitespace" enabled in most cases — lists copied from spreadsheets, emails, or other tools often carry invisible trailing spaces that would otherwise make two lines that look identical get treated as different (and therefore not merged). Turn on "Case sensitive" only if the letter casing itself matters for your list (for example, if "Apple" and "apple" genuinely need to stay as two separate entries); leave it off if you just want one clean copy of each item regardless of capitalization. When duplicates are found with case sensitivity off, the version that appears first in your original list is the one that's kept.
