About Image Color Picker
This tool lets you upload any image and click on it to read the exact color of that pixel — in HEX, RGB, and CMYK. Hover over the image for a live preview and a magnified loupe view for pixel-precise picking, then click to lock in a color and add it to your picked-colors history. All processing happens locally in your browser; your image is never uploaded to a server.
HEX, RGB, and CMYK — What's the Difference?
HEX and RGB both describe color the way screens produce it — by mixing red, green, and blue light. HEX is just RGB written as a 6-digit base-16 code (e.g. #FF5733), while RGB writes the same three values in base-10 (e.g. rgb(255, 87, 51)); both are used for web and digital design. CMYK describes color the way printers mix ink — cyan, magenta, yellow, and black — and is used for print design. The CMYK values shown here are calculated with a standard mathematical conversion from RGB, which is a reasonable estimate for most purposes, but professional print production typically uses an ICC color profile specific to the printer and paper for a more accurate conversion, since converting screen color to ink color isn't perfectly one-to-one.
