Negative Prompt Generator

Filter Out Bad Hands, Blurry Text & Common AI Art Defects

Stable Diffusion vs. Flux: negative prompts are a core, native feature of Stable Diffusion. Flux is architecturally different — it wasn't originally built to use negative prompts the same way, and fast/distilled variants like Flux Schnell often don't meaningfully use them at all, since they skip the guidance mechanism negative prompts rely on. The list below works reliably in Stable Diffusion; in Flux, results depend heavily on which specific variant and interface you're using.

About the Negative Prompt Generator

A negative prompt tells an image generator what to avoid, rather than what to include — it's how you filter out common defects like deformed hands, extra fingers, blurry or garbled text, watermarks, and general low-quality artifacts. This tool organizes commonly used negative prompt terms into six defect categories you can toggle on or off, plus a field for adding your own terms specific to your image. Hands & Anatomy and Text & Watermarks are enabled by default, since deformed hands and garbled text are two of the most common AI image generation problems. Everything runs locally in your browser — the generated list is just text for you to paste into your own image generation tool.
